trendexplorer is a proof of concept of a special kind of search engine and buzz aggregator. The site provides clear definitions of hashtags and other types of buzz that pops on Twitter or the Internet.

In addition, the site provides context to trends by aggregating Twitter conversations, Digg news stories, and Flickr photos about that trend. The site also allows for user contributions.
