BuddhaBot
2009
BuddhaBot is a speculative design project that imagines a robot that makes living in the city better. BuddhaBot does this by mapping areas of the city that have little noise pollution and little foot traffic. It provides this information free of charge to the public.
The entire project comprises of:
- research on sound sensing technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence
- physical prototyping
- copywriting
- print design
- web design
This project was done in conjunction with the Public Design Workshop
